Event Overview
Following the huge success of last year’s Picnic in the Park, we are delighted to announce details of this year’s event.
Please join us on Sunday 31st August 2025 from 12:30 for live music, fully stocked bar, BBQ, garden games and even more merriment for all ages.
Admission is free for all, but any donations are very welcome.
Bring your own blankets, chairs and sun umbrellas (fingers crossed) and join us for an afternoon in surrounds of the Recreation Ground.- SAVE THE DATE:

Food and Drink
There is a fully stocked bar available at the event - beers, wines and soft drinks along with ice-cups will be available from the Pavilion.
A BBQ will be available and free free to bring your own snacks! Come find us outside the Pavilion for a burger or hot dog!
Car Parking Facilities
Please note that parking on the grounds will not be available but you will be able to drop off. More information via the contacts below.

Inportant Event Information
Weather
Strictly No Glass
Our local authority licensing requires that we do not allow glass into the event. The Recreation Ground will be back in full public use immediately after the event and we cannot risk broken glass being found on the field, so please help us by not bringing any glasses or glass bottles, etc. with you.
Outdoor Event
This is an outdoor event on grass. Please bring your own picnic blankets, chairs, cushions, etc. to sit on. You may bring sun umbrellas but please DO NOT erect gazebos.
Keep Dogs on Leads
We love dogs, but please ensure you keep them on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog, doggies bins are provided by the carpark.
Children
Please ensure that your children are with you at all times and are not allowed to wander off unaccompanied.
The Meeting Point is located in the righthand side of the Pavilion. We strongly recommend that you make all members of your party know where the Meeting Point is located should any member of your party becomes lost. Lost children will be escorted to the Meeting Point.
Food and Drink
A BBQ and fully stocked bar is available, but please feel free to bring your own snacks.
Card and cash payments are accepted at this event, although we would encourage the use of card payments where possible.
